The C-Bus Toolkit software is an application you run on your personal computer to configure and commission C-Bus Installations. This allows our customers to install and support our range of C-Bus hardware products. C-Bus Toolkit is used for commissioning C-Bus Installations by configuring the behaviour of installed C-Bus hardware. C-Bus Toolkit also installs C-Gate Server software which can be used as part of a C-Bus control system. This means you can use the included C-Bus C-Gate software as a permanently installed control system for a C-Bus Installation. This release includes support for the C-Bus 40M series key input units. Functionally this series is the same as the 30M series.

The software is packaged in a ZIP file. To unzip the file and access the software you will need to use an application that supports zip files, for example WinZip. If you are using Windows XP then ZIP file support is included and no third-party software will be required.

I currently have C-Gate 1.5 installed, will installing C-Bus Toolkit affect C-Gate 1.5

Your C-Gate 1.5 installation will remain intact and fully functional. However, Toolkit will install C-Gate 2.x as well. You can run either C-Gate 1.5 or C-Gate 2.x at any point in time, but not both at the same time.

I currently have C-Gate 1.5 installed, will C-Bus Toolkit work with C-Gate 1.5
